Wheeling Park District Preschool

Preschool GirlsThe Wheeling Park District is guided by the philosophy of “learning through play”. Through activities in art, games, storytelling, cooking, movement, and songs, children develop self-control, physical coordination, and social skills. The curriculum focuses on helping children learn to adapt to a group setting, follow directions, and share with others. Children are exposed to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and readiness skills in a low-key, nurturing setting. The Wheeling Park District Preschool provides a secure and supportive environment for developing the whole child. A detailed Preschool Guidebook is available upon registration.
