Wheeling Park District Preschool
The Wheeling Park District is guided by the philosophy of “learning through play”. Through activities in art, games, storytelling, cooking, movement, and songs, children develop self-control, physical coordination, and social skills. The curriculum focuses on helping children learn to adapt to a group setting, follow directions, and share with others. Children are exposed to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and readiness skills in a low-key, nurturing setting. The Wheeling Park District Preschool provides a secure and supportive environment for developing the whole child.
A detailed Preschool Guidebook is available upon registration.
